EDWARD ORR
Edward graduated in Law from Queen’s University Belfast in 1979 and successfully completed the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, solicitor course in 1980 before joining his family firm, Wallace & Co. Due to continued growth the firm incorporated as Edward Orr Solicitors Limited in 2019.
Edward has extensive experience in residential sales, purchases and re-mortgages and commercial conveyancing including development work, landlord and tenant. He also specialises in the preparation of wills, trusts, inheritance tax planning and estate administration.
Edward had over 40 years experience in private practice as a solicitor and has advised a wide range of private clients, companies and local authorities including acting for Banbridge District Council. Edward retired from private practice in November 2021.
Edward is married to Jennifer and they have two daughters and one granddaughter. Edward enjoys watching sports and playing tennis whenever possible. Edward is a member of the Pro-Bono Law Choir and enjoys taking part in amateur productions with the Banbridge Musical Society.
